Pledges made today can be paid in full by the end of the current school year. You can pay a pledge monthly or quarterly with your credit card. Email development@tcslj.org to indicate your pledge amount and be counted as a supporter of the Annual Fund.
Double the Impact of Your Gift! Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to donate to non-profit organizations such as The Children’s School. Please email development@tcslj.org to find out if your organization provides matching gifts.
To make a gift of stock to The Children’s School, email our Director of Finance, Tim Kastelic, at business@tcslj.org to inform him of your intentions to transfer stock. Then, download the stock transfer form. You will receive a letter from The Children’s School’s Development Office informing you of your tax deductible contribution valued at the price of stock on the day of transfer.

For over 50 years, TCS has counted on the generous support of parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, board of trustees and friends who have invested in lifelong learning by supporting the Annual Fund. Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund impact every aspect of the school; they help deliver high quality academics, transformative experiences, dedicated faculty and a diverse and inclusive community.
Like many independent schools, The Children’s School intentionally sets tuition below the full cost of an education. Gifts to the Annual Fund allow the school to maintain our tuition while expanding our programs and opportunities. Community support ensures our ability to cover all costs—from faculty and staff salaries and professional development to tuition assistance and facilities maintenance and improvements.
When participation rates are strong, it is an indicator of our school’s collective commitment to inspire each child’s unique potential and desire for life-long learning. It also inspires giving from other TCS families and the larger community.
We ask that you make TCS one of your top philanthropic priorities and we encourage you to make a gift that is meaningful to you and your family.
All leadership gifts of $2,500 or more will be recognized at an evening reception in February.

Fun Night is our annual spring fundraising event that supports the students, teachers, and programs at TCS. It’s an opportunity for our community to join together to celebrate our school and support the next generation of change makers.

In May 2013, we lost a beloved educator. Maria Rose D’Orio taught Prekindergarten and Kindergarten at The Children’s School and was known for her commitment to the growth of educational programs at the school. To continue her vision for education opportunity, the D’Orio and Ford families opened a fund in her honor.
A successful fundraising effort led to the creation of an outdoor learning environment, Maria’s Dream Playground, on our campus for our youngest students. Future funds will go to support projects and initiatives that further Maria’s passion for joyful, child-centered education.
