Why TCS is Our #1 Choice

The biggest asset that I have is my ability to think differently and unexpectedly; it is what makes my voice heard in a sea of students and what makes my job application stand out in a crowd of thousands.

The Children’s School education focuses on fostering a child’s love of learning by giving them the opportunity to explore subjects in-depth and giving them the vocabulary to question. The curriculum includes everything that an elementary and middle school is required to teach, but it is the unique ‘hands on’ approach through the use of nontraditional methods of learning such as group projects, creative writing assignments, and the arts, that prepares students for a world in which simple memorization will not suffice. This educational approach leads to students who are passionate about discovering and learning, who can find creative solutions to problems and who view the world through the lenses of analysis, critique and appreciation.

At The Children’s School I was allowed to explore my creativity; I was taught that my creative voice mattered. The biggest asset that I have is my ability to think differently and unexpectedly; it is what makes my voice heard in a sea of students and what makes my job application stand out in a crowd of thousands. TCS also taught me how to learn from my mistakes, to get up when I fall down; this stems from the fact that there were always teachers who, from the bottom of their hearts, believed in me and wanted nothing but for me to succeed in my endeavors. I am grateful to have grown up in such an inclusive, friendly and creative community.
