Dear Friends,
Last week the TCS 8th grade students along with a few 7th grade students competed in the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. This regional competition challenges students to research, design, and present innovative, real-world solutions to panels of judges who are professionals in their respective fields. GSDSEF as it is also known, encourages young scientists to explore their interests and apply their talents.

198 Junior Division (7th-9th grade) student exhibitors submitted projects from 24 schools across San Diego County. Every one of our students who submitted a project had the honor of being accepted and most chose to compete.

All of our competing students placed in their categories and five qualified for Broadcom MASTERS, a nationwide premier middle school science and engineering fair competition.

This is thanks to the dedication of Diana and her ability to guide and inspire her students.
