Congratulations to our middle school students who entered the 2019 National History Day competition. TCS students won four awards: Bringing History Alive! Award: The Triumph and Tragedy of the Great Depression by George and Vincent Honorable Mention in Junior Paper Category: German Spies Versus Jewish Refugees by Patrick Honorable Mention in Junior Documentary Category: The Chinese Opium Wars, a History of Corruption and Addiction by Ian and Zane Category Winner and San Diego representative to the state competition: The Triumph and Tragedy of Hitler and his Nazi Regime by Ethan We are, needless to say, very proud of our historians- and of Joseph and David for their ability to nurture and support this level of achievement in the context of progressive education.
