Dear Friends,

The TCS 8th grade students along with a few 7th grade students competed in the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. This regional competition challenges students to research, design, and present innovative, real-world solutions to panels of judges who are professionals in their respective fields. GSDSEF as it is also known, encourages young scientists to explore their interests and apply their talents.

187 Junior Division (7th-9th grade) student exhibitors submitted projects from 26 schools across San Diego County. Every one of our students who submitted a project had the honor of being accepted and most chose to compete. As always our students did very well with three of them advancing to the state science fair. We are proud to share their results with you:
