Distance Learning at TCS

The Children’s School is committed to providing our students intellectual challenge in an environment that is safe and allows them to thrive. In keeping with this commitment, we have transitioned to distance learning. At this time, all on-campus activities are cancelled.

Our distance-learning program includes digital discussions, teacher-generated videos, opportunities for individual support from teachers, and projects that can be completed at home. The methods vary depending on the age of students.

In these difficult times, we have been working hard to provide consistency for all of our students. The administrative team has been delighted to join a number of classes over the past couple of days and see the TCS students engaged in the same lively discussions we are used to experiencing in person. The faculty and staff are prepared to offer our TCS experience virtually for as long as we need to- but of course, we are eager to see all of our students back at school again, as soon as possible.

TCS is able to thrive during adverse times precisely because we have built strong and lasting bonds within the community. We take joy in being together, and pride in sustaining relationships over the long haul. It is our sincere hope that you stay healthy and find beauty in being with those you love.
